(Junior) Project- & Processmanager Master Data (f/m/x)

The Global Ecom Data Management & Innovation team is always ahead of the curve: we know first-hand which new products and assortments are being launched at DOUGLAS, and we enrich them globally with all relevant data – for all of our country markets. Every day, we work with large volumes of data that give rise to numerous exciting projects and process optimizations. We maintain close synergies with almost every department at DOUGLAS and stay in constant exchange to keep improving e-commerce and the customer journey – increasingly relying on artificial intelligence and automation to noticeably improve data quality and time-to-market. TASKS WITH IMPACT • You support data and system projects from requirements gathering through to go-live and take on your own sub-projects as your experience grows • Existing processes in product data management are something you analyze and document, developing concrete optimizations together with the team • As the interface between the business department and IT, you translate business requirements into clear specifications for our development team and test their implementation • Automation potential in our data flows is something you identify and turn into practical solutions together with AI tools • On a strategic level, you work closely with the Team Lead Master Data Projects and gain early insight into the direction of our data processes • Analyses, decision papers and project results are prepared by you for internal stakeholders • In daily international exchange, you collaborate closely with colleagues from our European country markets YOUR SKILLS • You bring a completed degree, for example in Business Administration, Artificial Intelligence, Business Informatics, Media or Information Management, or a comparable qualification – graduates and career starters are explicitly welcome • Initial practical experience, for example through an internship, a working student position, a trainee program or comparable experience in e-commerce, data management, project management or an IT-related role, is part of your background • Complex topics are something you structure analytically and grasp quickly • Working confidently with Excel, you enjoy handling large volumes of data • Initial experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini is something you've already gathered, and you know how to critically assess their results • Very good written and spoken German and English skills round off your profile • Ideally, you also bring knowledge of SAP (Retail and/or Commerce), a PIM system, project and ticketing tools such as Jira and Confluence, or initial experience with automation such as macros, VBA, Power Automate or basic Python skills AI is not a passing trend for us — it's part of our everyday development • You've already gained initial experience with AI tools (for example ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini) and know how to meaningfully assess and critically review their results • You recognize where AI can create real value in data-driven processes — and bring your own ideas on how we can work smarter • More important to us than a ready-made list of tools is your curiosity: you try new things, share your learnings with the team, and develop practical solutions together with us Nice to have, but not a must • Knowledge of SAP (Retail and/or Commerce) or a PIM system • You know what project and ticketing tools like Jira and Confluence are and what they're used for — initial hands-on experience with them is a plus • Experience with automation: macros or VBA, Power Automate, or basic Python knowledge Why Douglas and this team? • We love e-commerce, we're motivated, and we enjoy what we do • Structured onboarding with a dedicated point of contact on the team — you won't be thrown in at the deep end • Real scope to shape things: your ideas don't end up in a drawer, they get implemented together with IT • We actively work with AI and give you the space to test new tools and drive use cases forward on your own • Join this exciting journey and help shape our #digitalfirst strategy with us • A challenging and varied role with clear development prospects in the Master Data project environment
